Hungary has a rich culture of dance with several styles of dance for all ages. Our group specializes in several styles of dance:

Üveges Tánc

The women’s bottle dance is one of the most popular performances with our dancers performing the entire dance balancing a bottle on their head. Traditionally, the bottles are glass and filled with wine and is a fun way to show off the dancers’ skills!

Legényes and Botoló

The men’s dance (Legényes) and the stick dance (Botoló) are two popular forms of dance performed by men. Often with an air of camaraderie and playfully outdoing each other.

Csárdás

The couples dance is one of the most well know types of dance in Hungary. Pairs join up to perform this cheerful dance full of skirt spinning, stomping, and much more!

Maypole Dance

Our kiddos perform the traditional maypole dance with bright ribbon that slowly wraps around the pole the longer the dance continues.
