We are proud to be able to share a taste of Hungary at local events (especially at A World A’Fair!). There is so much amazing food to share but sadly we can’t bring every possible dish with us. All of our food is made from scratch and with care from our dancers.

Cabbage Rolls and Sausage

Hungarian cabbage rolls are, rather unsurprisingly, rolled up cabbage leaves usually stuffed with ground meat, onions, paprika, rice, garlic and egg though recipes can vary slightly.

Hungarian Sausage packs a paprika filled punch and is traditionally made with ground pork and beef.

Linzer is a wreath shaped butter cookie filled with jam and sprinkled with chopped walnuts

Kifli is a flaky handmade crescent shaped cookie made with real butter and comes with fillings such as Apricot (Barack), Walnut (Dios), Poppyseed (Makos), Prune (Szilva).

Pastries

Fluffo (Hayas) are a flaky puff pastry star with a variety of fillings such as Apricot (Barack), Walnut (Dios) and Strawberry (Eper).

Beigli / Nut Rolls are a popular rolled pastry filled with poppy seeds (makos), ground walnuts (dios), prune (szilva) or apricot (barack) filling.
